Eternal guilt

For the one I have hurt,

Words will never replace the pain I have caused. This emptiness shall always be there. I look around and all I see is you. I can't make you see that, and I can't makes you understand., for words...just seem to elude me when spoken.

I hope someday you will forgive me. I force myself not to look for you, but I find myself still doing it. I don't even know if I exist to you anymore, or just a remnant of the past, best left behind.

I can't bring myself to do what we used to do. I look for other things now that doesn't remind me of you. I think of all the conversations, all the unspoken words I wanted to tell you, that I will never speak.

I miss you. I will never have that connection with anyone else again, it felt so natural and pure. From day one. But like everything in life, I guess it dies. But the memories will be eternal.

Thank you for being there, for understanding and for being my partner for as long as you were. For that time, I thank you.

Randomness from a random person...

As usual, I am always thinking of ideas, and can't focus on one solid one because there is a sparkly and songs and next thing I know I am way off track. But hey, I guess that is what keeps life interesting isn't it?

So we had a storm roll through Bellefontaine last night...waiting for the inevitable, impending winds, golf ball sized hail, shear winds to blow trees down, etc. so I waited patiently on my front porch...The wind slowly picked up and blew dirt and leaves around, lightening was pretty and then the rain hit. It was beautiful...I felt the rain on my face, the temperature dropped and the thunder was a low rumbling in the sky. The lightening lit up the sky in moments of blue color, illuminating everything for a split second and casting an eerie tone to the trees, making them sway in the wind to their own beat. The rain was cold, the wind felt great and at midnight last night, I let myself become one with the storm...it moved around me and touched me with it's hand, embracing me with it's breath and allowing me to engulf myself in it's arms. Everyone knows the saying, "Some people feel the rain, others just get wet" well, I felt the rain last night. It was wonderful!

I must say that if you ever have a chance to be in a storm in the middle of the night, embrace it and reflect the beauty in the night that you don't get to see in the daytime!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

All the small things...

They really add up don't they? LOL, yes that was a random thought going through my head with nothing to do whatsoever with this blog...so here it goes!

Imitation is a form of flattery...but is it really? I know of a few celebrities who get mad when someone else is posing as them, yet it makes me giggle. Yes, I am guilty of following a few celebs on facebook and twitter, but to see them upset about a "poser" page is quite funny. Here are a few reasons why:
  • Their posers respond to their fans...(OMG shocker!!)
  • They use positive quotes and make them sound like deep thinkers! (Heaven forbid!)
  • They use the same pictures anyone can get off the internet...and guess what...they reflect a positive reaction from your fan base!
I don't get why they are upset...in fact, these posers are actually doing free PR for them and marketing...they should be getting a commission off you! My two cents on that topic; on to the next.

Relationships:
Not gonna lie, it affects everyone at one point or another...but make sure you ask advice from people who will give you good advice, not people who want to inflict more confusion on you. My best advice...you are going to have to live with the consequence no matter what you choose, choose what is best for you and something you can live with! Yes, hardest decision in your life sometimes, but hey, you are going to make it out of it...maybe crappy for a while, but even that too shall pass!
Here are a few things to follow, in the future:
  • If you want it to work, do your best to earn their trust...relationships are like a full time job where it does take hard work and commitment...
  • If you want to leave, then find the courage to leave...it's hard, not gonna lie, but will get better in time.
  • If you are having doubts, make sure you think about it before letting emotions get the best of you...because sometimes the "little" head likes to think it is in charge.
  • If you think that you are becoming boring in your relationship, change it up...be random and spontaneous! Live a little!!

I think that this blog does relate to all the small things...huh, I guess even in random moments, words taken from the brain and formed on paper with inadvertedly become something noteworthy!
Anyways, the music is my head is slowly increasing volume so I will end it here! Have a wonderful night and stay beautiful!!

Time may pass, but the memories remain...

Everyone has a bucket list that they come across, saying "I am going to do all of this someday." Well, now is the time to do it! There does come a time in life when fear of (insert fear here) holds everyone back at some point. Some people just find the courage to step out of it and jump in head first.

Thinking back in the past few years since I have been in Ohio, there was a few things that I could cross off my list. For instance:
  • Having a professional opera singer do an "impromptu" song in my kitchen...LOL and get a jaw-dropping audience and an applause from a "bathroom" tenant who shall remain nameless.
  • Getting to meet someone who invented the "flavor crystals" in coffee and the inventor of "Pop Rocks" (awesome moment as well...)
  • Being on a OGR podcast...while getting by butt handed to me by a level one creature. (That kinda sucked, but it was fun!)
  • Meeting someone for the first time with an embarrassing moment! (OMG you told!!! OMG that was you!!) Good times!!
  • Being a manager at a reputable company and Liking my job!!
  • Having a been there/done that not gonna go there again type of year...(2009, and that's all I am going to say about that one!)
  • Going on a roadtrip to Maryland, a few times with the greatest gal ever!!
  • Meeting the best friend who I can be myself around without the weird look..(most times!)
  • Being three degrees away from Kevin Bacon...(if you play the game, you know what I am talking about!)
  • Being a tiny muse in another person's blog...
  • Writing and actually trying to focus on my more creative side...

Yet, the list can go on and on, but I don't want to bother all of you with my memories. In short, I will swing on my front porch when I'm old with my best friends and saying, remember that one time...and getting a good laugh out of it. Isn't that what life is all about? Collecting those memories and sharing them with the ones you love, even the bad ones can be looked back on and seem funny in it's shadow. The greatest thing about time, is that it can heal...and memories, whether good or bad can be bought up again without the anger or aggression felt when it first happened.

So go out there, play in the mud and dance in the rain and find that person you can create memories with! Have a great night everyone!!

Word theme story...Drowning

It was a challenge from a friend to write a story about a word...so here is mine for drowning:

Drowning slowly makes you wonder about your life. How did I get here, why did it end up like this, slowly drifting away under the water, mental images taking you back through your life. The time you can remember your first birthday, how the candle looked, how you wanted to touch it, but couldn’t because it hurt but you didn’t understand why. Looking up at the bubbles, images floating pass you, your first kiss, sweet under the bleachers from the one you thought you would never leave, to the baby born into a world of flashing lights and parents’ cries. Slowly losing consciousness, memories keep flowing, from the fights late at night to the crying from past due bills, all sinking into reality of an adult life that can’t be kept up with. Slipping into the unknown with thoughts of a life now past her, she slips into the other world…dark and unknown. Time stands still just for what seems like a moment, then a light at the end. She pushes forward, slowly making her way to the light, the beautiful glowing orb at the end of what seems like an endless journey, slow and painful but painstakingly trudging forward.
Suddenly she hears a familiar sound, muffled but familiar, coming from the light…come back to me, don’t leave me. She finds the strength to struggle on, to find that voice, from an echo to a more prominent voice trudging her forward, momentum in her feet, a pulse in her heart…she marches on, grasping to remnants of a life she has, fighting for what she wants. She wants to feel a gentle hand, a smooth caress, a meaningful kiss, her heat beat pulsate. The voice, louder with each step, directing her every movement, her only sanity in the world as she knows it, beckoning her, begging her to come. The light, with it’s heated caress, it’s blinding glow now basking her in it’s loving glow, she smiles. She sees the hand to the familiar face that called to her from the darkness, led her to his embrace, melted the worry away. She is safe again, a warm embrace, a gentle hand, a meaningful kiss.
    Hope you enjoy it!

Creativity leads you to strange places...

As tired as I am, the bed looking so inviting...it is calling me like a soulful song trying to whisk me away from my agenda I created, it will have to wait.

Lots of creative juices flowing right now in my head, with no outlet of release. So many directions it's a wonder how I even stay focused to put these words on paper. So as my journey increases to other forks in the road and every path as tempting as my bed sounds right now, I have chosen to put words on paper (well, via computer that is =) since I am typing).First off, I have a few ideas of photos that I want to take...test out or rekindle that drive in me that I want to take photos. Not the 50 types of bathroom pictures that seem to float on every social network out there, but legit photos of random things that make me go hmmm....

Then of course the editing part of the photography journey...which is always fun to take a picture and make it into what you want it to be. I am trying out different venues on that note...stay tuned for updates!

But more I also want to take a stab at photo journalism...I think that would be interesting, and who knows...maybe something of mine will be published; and I am not talking about library of poetry that publishes everyone's work, but rather a submission to see if it was worth the manual labor.

Anyways, just making a mental note of things to do, and writing it down so I will not have a reason to not do them...it is out in the atmosphere now, so instead of "do as I say not as I do" theory, I am going to make this happen!

Thank you for the time of reading this and as always be good to one another!

    In the making...

Taking a head on approach to life...guess my six word memoir works after all. Most people are afraid to go beyond the box...I want to bust the box open wide and say "Hello Bitches!" LOL...okay, maybe not that frank, but oh well.

Been thinking a lot about the future and what it presents, and frankly (and shamelessly plugged) I got my motto from Gossip Girl's Chuck Bass...just say "YES." So that is what I am going to do, and who knows what may come up. Everyone is always afraid of rejection, it is true, but how can you get to where you are going if you are afraid of taking that step? I know that time will not turn backwards to start earlier than now, but starting now and stepping on a limb (or at least the first step) will be better than staring into the unknown and saying, hmm I am not ready yet.

So whether it is a fail or a bust I am going for it. Life always has special opportunities that presents itself, but only if you are willing, and sometimes it can be a bust...but how are you going to know if  you don't try right?

So on my podium I announce that I am moving forward with my plans..as ridiculous as some may seem, I am excited to progress instead of regress myself! Thank you for your support!! *curtsy* hehe...may your life be as you want it to be...full of adventure and a kick arse ride!! Ciao!!

    6 word memoir

My life has been busy since I last wrote here, but here I find myself again with a simple challenge..to write my life composed in six words. So as I stare at the computer screen to compile my life in a simple sentence, only one can come to mind:
Kicked into overdrive, Never look back.

Story of my life, in a simple sentence...Now I had it over to Margaret Waage...

    No Experience Necessary...

Okay, maybe a little...but hey, you have to start somewhere right? So now, I am in that place right now. Yes, there is going to be a little butterfly floating around in my stomach because putting yourself out there just does that.

A little secret, it doesn't matter who you are, everyone is scared of rejection, and yes while you don't know some of the people who doesn't like your work, it still does get to you. I have been going two years in the shadows because of someone not liking my photo, and then a group of friends said the hell with the professional who said a stem was a little distracting and go for it anyways...so here is it in all it's glory...the first picture that made me stop in my pursuit of happiness...

The one time I submitted to the local fair, and this was one of the pictures...while I guess I could have photoshopped the stem out, I was actually going for a different view on a flower. I think it was a good picture and you know what...I like it! I don't know why I let her influence me the way she did, and I am glad that my friends helped me out of that funk! So thank you Lisa Brandel, Ryan Slayback and Mary Garwood! You guys are awesome!!

Okay...it is now out for the world to judge!

I know I haven't posted in a while...but was actually still blogging, just the old-fashioned pen and paper type right now! Started since the first and Janurary and haven't stopped yet! The picture of the tree outside of my yard hasn't changed either...just looks like a dead tree right now...wet, and kinda gloomy looking, so hopefully that changes in the next couple of months! Let's see what else...got a new position in my job! w00t! pay raise and all, so that is different!
Yes, I know why I wrote this one...so I am taking a chance right now on how people will look at my work...in progress as always, but still trying to make that step in my goals...if you don't know, I am sure there is a link somewhere on the page about my blog about goals! (shameless plug I know, I know!) Anyways, tell me what you think about these pictures, I am always open to constructive criticism...Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Those a just a few I have for right now...like I said...still a work in progess!! Happy Blogging People!

Almost time to another fresh start!

Okay...so time has been slipping away from me in the past couple weeks, (funny how life goes like that...one second and it's after Thanksgiving, and next thing you know...5 days out until a New Year!) my how time flies!

Anyways, so I have a lot of new ideas for the upcoming year (if the funds are available) and hopefully a goal list that will be achieved! There has been so much going on that sometimes I wish there were 48 hours in a day! But alas, time is of the essence and time is very short...but also what you make of it!

So in preparations for the upcoming year, I have bought myself a calendar, journal, day planner (yay!!), and finished my storage thingy!!! I have my stuff organized, got my art supplies in ready, and my camera on charge! I am taking the world by storm in 2012 and nothing is gonna stop my but myself! Thank goodness I have myself in check with my goals! =) I love how a plan comes together like that! Yes, this will be an epic year for myself and my close friends and the fam-bam!

Anyways, it was nice to get back on here and jot my randomness once again! As always, thank you for reading and Happy Blogging Everyone!

    Enjoying life's little moments...

Can you honestly say that you enjoy life's little moments? Yes, I tend to be "lost" in my world alot and don't happen to see every moment, but the ones I do catch...I take a moment to reflect on it. I like those moments, it can happen at any time, without warning to make you stop and pause on life.

With life being so chaotic and never ending, it is nice to have a moment like that. Today, my daughter comes home from church and starts to sing the "books of the bible" song...skipping the entire middle of the New Testament...hehe...at least she has the beginning and end downpact! So we sat an listened to the song for 1/2 hour while she tried to learn it all in one night! Twas very cute!

We also had another moment when she was introducing me to her "BFF" (mind you it was a school project against anti-bullying and she is a paper doll!) But she explained how she turned her into a girl and gave her hair and a whole identity! I have an amazing child! Yes, she is the most random child (who two seconds later wants to join cheerleading but only for one year and is going on a super weight loss program to do it...as she is munching on a piece of homemade pizza she made for dinner tonight...lol) yes I know that's not right to giggle about that, but hey...if you knew her, you would know where her story was going after that! (As she runs downstairs for ice cream, cause you have to have dessert after every meal!) She then proceeds to tell me that she doesn't want to be the top cheerleader because the outfits they use are a little "high" as she puts it and she doesn't want to show anything!

After that two minutes, she talks about bullying and how her school has the anti-bullying rule in effect...and how Assassin's Creed is a boys game and her friend Spencer who is an "A" student told her that she couldn't play that game...lol oh to be a 5th grader again!

Anyways, those were my little life moments for today! As I tell her it is bedtime, she tells me that she's glad to be going to bed because she is tired and thanks for "hanging" out with her tonight! <3 her!!

Anyways, yes this was just a random blog (I guess I am famous for those!) but I had to share my little moments with everyone! Happy Blogging everyone! Enjoy the time with your loved ones, because life stands still for no one!

    Now that we're here...

So Far Away...I love that song!! In case you didn't know...Staind sings it! <3 them!!

Okay, in case you are not friends with me on facebook, and friend and I were thinking of our theme songs the other day for the year 2012...and it hit me (like a brick building...just saying), why not Staind???

The lyrics to this song would basically describe my feelings headed toward the new year...as they go a little something like this:

Writer: LEWIS, AARRON / MUSHOK, MICHAEL / WYSOCKI, JONATHAN / APRIL, JOHN

    This is my life
Its not what it was before
    All these feelings I've shared
    And these are my dreams
    That I'd never lived before
    Somebody shake me'Cause I
    I must be sleeping
    Now that we're here,
    It's so far away
All the struggle we thought was in vain
    All in the mistakes,
    One life contained
They all finally start to go away
Now that we're here it's so far away
And I feel like I can face the day, and I can forgive
And I'm not ashamed to be the person that I am today
    These are my words
    That I've never said before
    I think I'm doing okay
    And this is the smile
    That I've never shown before
    Somebody shake me 'cause I
    I must be sleeping
    I'm so afraid of waking
    Please don't shake me
    Afraid of waking
    Please don't shake me

That is the attitude I now have in my life...yes, I screwed up a lot, but you know what? I am thankful for all the mistakes I have made, I have learned and it has made me a stronger person. I am not ashamed for the things I have done, (what was thinking at that time sometimes I have no idea!!) but I talk about it as a learning experience. Would I tell my parents??? If they asked me yes, and if not...they didn't need to know! *Blushes*

But anyways, I feel like a positive person heading into the new year...it's funny, maybe the mixture of magic in the air and the vibe that I am getting is making me this way, but I am giddy like a child on Christmas morning...excited to see what is in store! I am loving it and feel anxious and nervous like I drank too much coffee, but I get a grin on my face I can't erase!
Yes, this is my time to shine, and no matter what negativity I am faced with, I will prevail!!
So thank you Staind, for making my theme song for 2012! You are an inspiration and very talented! Aaron, amazing voice and I hope you get better...rest your vocal cords there buddy!!

Anyways, just wanted to share that amazing song lyrics to everyone on here! If you have made it this far, I bid you goodnight and Happy Blogging! Stay positive and everyone around you will start to feel the warmth of that light!! Goodnight fellow Bloggers!!

    Sunday, December 11, 2011

The most wonderful time of the year...

I love the magic in the air around Christmas time!

However, many people don't feel the same...it is a shame. I don't have much money, I barely have enough to cover my daughter's presents (Thank goodness I only have one to buy for!!) and I have bills to pay for. But you know what, I don't care. There has been a lot going on from Halloween till now, deaths, pregnancies and other life changing things, but I am still thankful I feel the magic! =)

Staying optimistic has got to be one of the "magical" moments in life! But as this year slowly trickles down, I am blessed with another fresh start...2012. It is a time for reneweled chances and not quite established goals to be on the list again! Yes, I believe this is going to be a life changing moment for me once again. Like they say, you can't relive the past, so make yourself presentable for the future. So that is what I am going to do.

I am sure I am going to make tons of mistakes (one may be the comment mentioned on my work connections website) but it needed to be addressed! I am sure going to take a lesson from each of them as well. I have things I need to improve (less television, more living!) which I am now on a good path with achieving, and more quality time (with the ones I love) that will make memories and counts!

Yes, this is the most wonderful time of the year for me. Am I sad that I can't be with my family in far away Hawaii...yes, but I am grateful I can talk to them whenever I want, and just hearing their voice makes me smile. =) Do I wish I could change these last few months or relive 2011...eh, it's whatever for me. If I knew then what I would know now, would it change me? Probably, and I feel I won't be the same...better or worse, and right now, I like me so it doesn't matter.

I have learned that 2011, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of me, as long as I can look at myself in the mirror and say that I haven't done anyone wrong, and I can sleep without ridden guilt, then hey...it was a pretty darn good day! I have also learned that no matter what you think, or feel, it isn't going to get you where you want to go, but action does take you there!
I can say I want this, I want to do that, but if I just sit down and don't do anything to step in that direction...I will still be sitting there!

And that's all I have for my fellow bloggers! Happy Blogging Everyone and enjoy your loved ones...they are always the link to your past and the shaping of your future! Thank you for reading!!

The makings of a Yeti story!

LOL...okay, maybe not so much but wheels are burning for the inspiration! Anyways, I thought I would put that on my To-Do List as an ongoing adventure to find the perfect Yeti story...and as always a to be continued one at that!

After playing union workers today with Lisa..hehe...we managed to get the organizer in an upright position and somewhat looking empty! (Our fifteen mintue project...two hours, five cigarettes, a Tim Horton run and two sore thumbs and bleeding knuckle later) but we got it upright!! Yay US!!

We also got a few ideas going for the extra money situation everyone is in dire need for! Stay tuned for that journey! Working on still uploading the pictures from Friday night on here! My epic journey to the center of town night with the kiddies turned really cold, but worth it!

Okay, so far I have managed to squeeze in a Yeti while talking about an organizer and injuries and a kid day! Chalk that up for the records!! But anyways, I am off to dream land and work comes again tomorrow!

Happy Blogging, and hopefully this montage of ideas will be better posted and not so scattered on the next one!

    When it rains....

I am so glad that my six day work week is over! It would be nice to sleep in (till 6:30 at least...hopefully) and then spend the day figuring out how I'm gonna rearrange my craft room!
Staying on the positive note right now, trying to take it one day at a time...but everything that can go wrong will keep heading that way I guess!

But let's not go there for the time being, because I am focusing on a solution and not the problem(s). They say when it rains, it pours...and it's times like this when you think about that one time you were going to do something...ya know?

On a mental note, the next time I do that, I'm just gonna say screw it and do it anyways so I am prepared! Darn procrastination handicap!! LOL...anyways, I am all over the place on this blog right now because too many voices want a chance to speak but doesn't want to wait in line...so I am ending it here before I get lost in my own blog!

As always, happy blogging everyone and keep your chin up...cause looking down all the time might make you smack a tree or street sign! (Mr. Banana Man in the suit at the parade today...)

    Thursday, December 1, 2011

Oh, the weather outside is frightful...

I neglected to blog yesterday due to unforeseen circumstances...people can't drive when the first snow hits! Plain and simple...how can a small town have that many accidents? My life partner had an accident yesterday morning and totaled his car =( but luckily not else was seriously hurt! Pray for the two people who lost their lives yesterday tragically though!

On the bright side, besides some aches and pains, he is better today! Things look some glum after an accident sometimes, lack of resources and money is a big one! But things could always be worse...and I guess I will leave it at that.

Friday will be a much better day! If you can start a day being optimistic, then nothing should ever bring you back down!! That's my saying and I'm sticking to it!! I am taking my Nikon out tomorrow and walking uptown to the annual B-town Night at the North Pole! Me and my daughter is going to go for some ideas for Christmas and some inspiration for creativity!! I'm excited! Best part of all that, is it's FREE!! So come out and enjoy the weather if you are around B-town, Ohio!!

Next on my list...setting up heat in the craft room (which I might add is clean out and somewhat ready!!) I need to get a few supplies left and we will be set to start making something on canvas and photos! Got to get ready for Logan County Fair in July!

Anyways, time is short as usual and this is getting long, so I will end for the night! Love one another for time is of the essence and before you know it, it may be too late! Thank you for reading and as always, Happy Blogging Everyone!!

The journey begins with a single step...

Hehe...I love how you can captivate people with just a single catch phrase or snazzy title!

Anyways, saying is true, journeys do begin with a single step, and sometimes without a map. I do however have a charted course to some destination...which is a really good step for me!!!

So now that my very awesome like-minded friend Widow Lady aka Lisa stopped by and offered me a start up kit for painting, I now have some things to start with on that adventure with my daughter. She is trying to be an aspiring artist/clothes designer/origami bunny folding/singer/writer who just wants to dance type of person, we do have a start. This is just the type of motivation I need to get the craft room going. Right now, I have a general idea of how I want it to look like so there is some organization to that madness!

Step 1: Clean out the garage...sounds easy but where to start
Step 2: Get the storage kit to set up out there.
Step 3: Organize the storage kit to set up material, art supplies and part of the photography stuff
Step 4: Get the easel and bench out there.

Okay, so now that list is done...lol time to get to work! Once again I am setting myself up for getting myself up off my arse and moving! It is going to be epic!! I am glad that I have the motivation now! Thank you support group!

    Happy Blogging everyone!

    Education...lost

Okay, so my second vision of this picture is now completed! I know it may offend a few people (especially teachers) but let's face it...with so much money being put into education, how are we not in at least the top 5 in the world for education for public education (not including colleges)?

I am hoping that this is an eyeopener for parents as well, because our future depends on our children, so why not give them the best education that money can buy? I know as a parent I want my child to excel.

I think that there are programs out there that should work with public schools, (Sylvan Learning Center for one) who can help children learn. It is also up to the parents at home to help them understand their work from school. Too many parents work two jobs to make ends meet, and try to be there for their children, but grandparents or babysitters raise more of our children nowadays than parents.

I know I am nowhere near "parent of the year" but I try to be there for my daughter. I don't have the patience sometimes, but I try to make it fun for her to learn what she needs to in life. I hope somewhere in the near future they will have classes for debt management, and understanding how to live within your means that will be a requirement for graduation. These are things that children do have to deal with when they become adults, so teach them that as well.

I think I may have gone a little on the "soap box" so before my rant goes any further, I will end it here. Hope you see the vision as I did, and hopefully the rant didn't upset anyone but make them think about what your public school have to offer!
